Easter Egg Word Hunt

Leading up to the Easter event, the Town is hosting an Easter Egg Word Hunt in partnership with the Easter Bunny and the Kinsmen Club of Coaldale. Use the map below to find the Easter Eggs the Easter Bunny has hidden throughout Town on the playgrounds in the parks listed below. Use the words you find to complete the following sentence:

The theory is that when ___(1)___ settled in ___(2)___ in the ___(3)___ they brought with them the ___(4)___ of the ___(5)___ that ___(6)___.

During the Easter Event on March 30th between 1 and 3:30 p.m., share the completed paragraph with the person working at the information booth in exchange for a treat from the Easter Bunny!

Colouring Contest

2024 Winners

Congratulations to the winners of our inaugural Easter Colouring Contest! We received 35 entries from participants ranging in age from 4 to 40. Judging was completed by Coaldale Town Council prior to their regularly scheduled Council meeting on Tuesday, April 2.

Tied for 1st/2nd place were:

How it works:

Step 1: EITHER pick up a colouring page from the Town Office (1801 20th Ave #200) during regular business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) by March 28, 2024 OR download a colouring page from the options below and print the page (front and back).
Step 2: fill out the information on the back of the page.
Step 3: colour the front of the page however you'd like.
Step 4: EITHER scan (in color) both the front AND back pages and email them to the Town of Coaldale’s Community Experience Manager, clayton.varjassy@coaldale.ca, OR drop off your entry at the Coaldale Town Office (1801 20th Ave #200) during regular business hours by March 28, 2024, Attn: Clayton Varjassy, OR bring your entry to the Town of Coaldale’s Easter Event on Saturday, March 30 between 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. in Civic Square Atrium (1801 20th Ave).
Step 5: Council will review the entries and decide on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.
