The Town's Rain Barrel Rebate Program is now closed. The program will re-open on March 1, 2025.
Collecting and reusing rainwater can reduce your utility bill. You can receive a 50% rebate on the purchase of a rain barrel, to a maximum of $50 per barrel.
Program Rules
1. There is a limit of 1 barrel per residence.
2. Only rain barrels purchased after January 1, 2024 are eligible for this rebate.
3. Rain barrel purchases made through classified ads are not eligible for this rebate.
4. Rain barrel conversion kits are not eligible for this rebate.
5. Other storage containers (totes, plastic garbage bins etc.) are not eligible for this rebate.
6. The program will remain open until October 1, 2024, or until a designated fund of $15,000 has been depleted.
7. Rebates will be provided on a first-come-first-served basis.
