🍟 McHappy Day – May 6, 2026
McHappy Day is returning to Coaldale on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the local McDonald’s, and residents are encouraged to take part in this important community initiative.
Now in its 32nd year, McHappy Day is McDonald’s Canada’s longest-running charitable event, supporting Ronald McDonald House (RMH) and local charities across the country. This year in Coaldale, Big Brothers Big Sisters has been selected as the local recipient.
Funds raised will support mentorship programs for youth ages 6–16 in our community, helping build confidence, strengthen relationships, and support overall well-being. A portion of proceeds will also support Ronald McDonald House Alberta, helping families stay close to their children receiving medical care.
Residents can show their support by visiting McDonald’s on May 6 and purchasing select menu items.
We encourage everyone to stop by and help make a difference for local youth and families.
