What is the Fall Community Meetup & Registration?
Formerly Fall Mass Registration, the goal of the Fall Community Meetup & Registration is to bring together the various community groups, organizations, and committees that serve Coaldale to educate residents on the opportunities available to them, and, if applicable, facilitate registrations.
Free pizza & refreshments will be provided courtesy of the Kinsmen & Kinette Clubs of Coaldale.

Closer to Home Community Services is a well-established, non-profit agency dedicated to supporting children, youth, and families through a range of family-centered programs and services. Coaldale Figure Skating Club is a fun and exciting place to learn to skate! Their programs are taught by Skate Canada Professional Coaches and are designed to teach all ages and skill levels from basic skating skills to the opportunity to take Skate Canada tests and enter into competitions. Their season begins in October and ends with an exciting skating Carnival in March where skaters get the chance to showcase their skills learned during the season. They are looking forward to another amazing season and would love for you to join them!

Coaldale Fun Cribbage was started many years ago by the Moulton Brothers. They started playing crib at the Ventura Hotel which developed into regular weekly cribbage that has continued ever since. They now operate out of the Coaldale Seniors' Centre.

A friendly group ready to welcome anyone who would like to join us on Tuesday evenings at 6:45 for jitney darts at KC's Pub. The cost is $7.00 per person; partners are drawn and we play games of 501, usually.

Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in North America. It is easy to learn, affordable, fast-paced, a great physical workout, and provides an opportunity to socialize and build community. Pickleball can be played just for fun or competitively. It can be played outdoors and indoors. Many vacation resorts have pickleball courts. You don’t need a partner to play in group sessions with the Coaldale Pickleball Club.
The Coaldale Pickleball Club has certified NCCP and IPTPA instructors who offer pickleball fundamental lessons. The Coaldale Pickleball Club also has a Junior Pickleball Program for youth aged 10 to 17 years and a very successful Junior Tournament was hosted last spring.
We have many dedicated volunteers who have made this club a success.

Founded in 1988, The Coaldale Public Library Friends Society is a nonprofit society. Members are volunteers who believe the Library is the heart of a community. Membership dues and fundraising proceeds allow us to purchase items (such as furniture, equipment, and books) and support library programs that cannot be funded from the Library's basic operating budget. Coaldale & Regional PAWS is a volunteer based organization serving Coaldale & Region. The Coaldale & Regional Pet and Animal Wellness Society has been established to develop and maintain an operational facility for stray and abandoned dogs found in Coaldale and surrounding areas to be safely vetted and housed until adoption. We work in collaboration with the Town of Coaldale Municipal Bylaw Enforcement.
We are looking for volunteers to help us achieve this goal. We are currently seeking individuals to attend community events to raise awareness and funds.

About Peak Elite Cheerleading
We're a local All Star Cheerleading and Aerial Arts gym offering fun, inclusive recreational and competitive programs for ages 4-55+. Our fall and winter sessions include:
Pre-CompetitiveCheer (Ages 5-12): An exciting intro to cheerleading with stunting, tumbling, and a final showcase performance. No experience needed!
All Star Novice Cheer (Ages 5-12): Beginner-friendly, low-pressure competitive teams with 3 in-province events and a focus on skill-building and personal growth.

The Population Health Promotion Program provides information and education around injury prevention, tobacco cessation, oral health and health equity. They promote health and wellness through decreasing injury and the prevalence of disease in children, youth, adults and seniors through various programs. These programs include car seat safety, home safety, rural and farm safety, falls prevention, seniors fall prevention, seniors health and wellness and QuitCore tobacco cessation. The oral health program will provide information on their Oral health school, preschool and seniors programs and services.

The Southern Alberta Summer Games were first held in Pincher Creek in 1970 with the intent to provide an opportunity for those in many different sports, age groups and skill levels to compete in regional competitions. Since then, the Summer Games have grown exponentially and is now the longest running annual sporting event in Alberta.
Each year, the Games are hosted by a different Southern Alberta community, offering around 20 sporting events, as well as, a variety of cultural events. Over the four days of the Games, over 2000 athletes will participate from the 13 regions in Southern Alberta.
The 2026 Southern Alberta Summer Games are being held in the County of Forty Mile, at the table you can find which games are going to be in the County as well as how to register in the new year! Families, individuals, and seniors can all participate in these games!
