Star Gazing

We are very fortunate to be living in Southern Alberta where we are able to see the stars.  Air and light pollution prevent two-thirds of the US population and more than half of Europe’s population from seeing the Milky Way with the naked eye.  Take advantage of our good fortune and stargaze in the evening or very early morning.

Try to find the following constellations with help found at in-the-sky.org/skymap2.php  On the right change your location to Lethbridge and enjoy looking at the night sky.

Ursa Major and the Big Dipper

The Little Dipper

The North Star

Orion

Cassiopia

Draco (the Dragon)

Pegasus (the Flying Horse)

Leo

Gemini

Taurus

Hydra
