Pickleball Skills Development Clinics with Brooke Siver

Brooke Siver is certified under the International Pickleball Teaching Professionals Association (IPTPA), the “Official” certification for coaching Pickleball. Brooke also teaches coaches how to coach through the IPTPA “Teach the Teacher” program. Brooke teaches Pickleball throughout North America, Mexico and the Caribbean.

Time: Learn to Play Clinic – 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm    

Date: Sunday, July 12, 2020
Time: Level III Clinic - 8:30 am to 10:30 am
          Level II Clinic  - 10:30 am to 12:30 pm
          Level I Clinic - 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm

Place:  Coaldale Eastview Park Courts

Cost:  $30 per person (Max 16/Min 8 registrants per session)

Level III Clinic:  Participants are required to have completed Level I & II Clinics. More advanced skills will be presented such as overhead smashes, offensive lobs, punch volleys and advanced modified games. Technical rules will be explained and demonstrated. 

Level II Clinic:  The Level II Clinic is the advancement from the Level 1 Clinic. Participants are required to have completed the Level I Clinic. The drills used in Level 2 focus on dinking, court positioning, 3rd shot drop, volleys, block volleys and introduction to the lob and overhead smash. More basic and advanced rules will be covered. The modified games are then re-introduced with the new skills shown.  

Level I Clinic is designed to show players the basic strategy of pickleball starting with the proper grip and the ready position.  Players will then advance to dinking, serve and return and introduction to the 3rd shot drop. Basic rules will be explained. The last part of the Level 1 clinic introduces 2 modified games that players can use to practice all the drills taught in this clinic. 

Learn to Play Clinic is designed for the player who has never played or only played pickleball a handful of times.  Players are introduced to the basic rules of the game, court layout, and basic skills from proper grip to correct court movement and how to consistently get the ball over the net. 

*Participants must be at least 16 years of age to register.  Participate at your own risk. (Beginner lessons for children will be organized in the future.)
