Free Open Swims
There are opportunities for individuals and organizations to donate toward Free Open Swim at the Coaldale Pool.
Donors can pay toward free blocks of Open Swim for $250/hr. Donations must cover the full block of Open Swim per the schedules posted above. Donations may be split between individuals or organizations to cover a full block. Please contact clayton.varjassy@coaldale.ca or call 403-345-1328 to inquire.

The Town of Coaldale will once again be offering the Intro to Swim Club program for the 2026 outdoor pool season. Learn more here.
Swimming Lessons
Swimming Lesson registration will open on Wednesday, May 20 at 10 a.m.
Registration will take place online as well as in person at the Coaldale Pool.
Coaldale Pool hours for May 20 are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m and for May 21 - 22 & May 25 - 29 are 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Group Lessons
Group lessons will be offered in two-week sessions beginning July 6, running Monday-Thursday with the exception of lessons on August long weekend, this lesson set will run Tuesday-Friday for that week. All 8 days must be attended to be considered for level completion. There are morning and evening group lessons available within the following sessions:
Session One: July 6-9 & July 13-16
Session Two: July 20-23 & July 27-July 30
Session Three: Aug 4-Aug 7 & August 10-13
Session Four: August 17-20 & August 24-27
*Lesson registrations will be taken on a first come, first served basis and no refunds will be issued.

Private Swimming Lessons
Private lessons will be offered this summer beginning July 6. Private lessons are not offered in two-week sessions. They are offered in 2-day groupings (2 lessons) on a Mon-Tues or Wed-Thurs. Registration for private lessons will need to be done in person at the Pool or over the phone.

Advanced Courses
We will be offering advanced courses at the Pool again this summer for those interested in becoming a lifeguard. Please click on each course below for more information. For further information and to register, please contact the pool at 403-345-1346.

Tot Lot
The Tot Lot will open June 1 Summer 2026 season.
Operating hours will be 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
Spray Park
The Coaldale Spray Park will open May 15 for the Summer 2026 season.
The Spray Park will be operating from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
Buttons on the features will activate the water supply. Please be patient when activating as features are programmed to run in 25-second intervals and not all at the same time.
