The event will take place from 3 - 6 p.m. and will feature an all-ages skateboard jam with cash and prizes (hosted by Boarderline Skateshop), a DJ, and a FREE BBQ hosted by the Kinsmen & Kinette Clubs of Coaldale.
Registration for the skateboard jam begins at 3 p.m.
Ribbon Cutting will commence at 4:30 p.m.
Free BBQ will run from 4:30 - 6 p.m.
Music by DJ Archie with Applaud Entertainment for the duration of the event.

Kanten Russell a veteran in professional skateboarding, is Design Director at New Line Skateparks FL Inc. Raised in Southern California, he skated professionally for 12 years worldwide. Transitioning to skatepark design nearly 20 years ago, Kanten has led over 300 projects focused on developing accessible and inclusive all wheel skate spaces. |
Brandon Turner is a professional skateboarder, mental health coach, and founder of West Side Recovery, specializing in personalized treatment for addiction and co-occurring mental health issues. Growing up skating before age six and overcoming his own addiction, he now uses skateboarding as a tool for recovery and support. In 2020, he gained recognition for a Switch Hardflip over the "Wallenberg" gap and won Street League's "Trick of the Year" at 38. |
Alexis Ramirez from Chula Vista, California, is a pro skater for SK8 Mafia and a new Nike SB team member. Known for his hypnotic street style, Alexis consistently impresses with his arsenal of tricks while skating classic San Diego spots. |
