2023 Country Christmas Best Decorated Winners
It was a nearly impossible task for our judges to determine the winners of the Country Christmas Best Decorated Contest this year because there were so many outstanding displays throughout Coaldale. The number of decorated homes is astounding and the quality is unsurpassed.
Please refer to the map that highlights some of the exceptional displays in our community.
In the end, after all the points were tallied, the winners were determined.

Make the Holiday Season brighter by lighting and decorating your home, yard and/or business. Become a 5th annual winner of our Country Christmas Best Decorated Contest!
This year 4 categories will be judged:
- Best Traditional Display (Lights only decoration/display - lighted fixtures such as deer or snowmen are acceptable as long as they are illuminated by traditional strand lights and portray a nostalgic feel.)
- Best Small Display (Garden display, apartment/condo patio or deck display, window display)
- Best Large Display (Full yard/house display)
- Best Decorated Business
Judging will take place from outside the residence or business and viewed from the street only. Judges will not enter the property to view back or side yards.
Judging criteria will include
a) unique design and creative use of lights and decorations
b) storyline or theme
c) display and placement of decorations, animated objects
d) overall presentation
