• 3rd Coaldale Scouts' Garage Sale (John Davidson School)

  The 3rd Coaldale Scouts are hosting a fundraiser garage sale at John Davidson School (enter from the south doors).  The fundraiser will help send 10 scouts to the Iceland Jamboree.

Colouring Contest

• Instructions

  Step 1: 
  EITHER pick up a colouring page from the Town Office (1801 20th Ave #200) during regular business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm) by April 2nd, the Coaldale Public Library OR download a colouring page from the options below and print the pages (colouring page and submission form).

  Step 2:
  Fill out the information on the submission form.

  Step 3:
  Colour the front of the page however you'd like, but please refrain from writing any personal information on the colouring page.

  Step 4:
  EITHER scan (in colour) both the colouring page AND submission form and email them to Mark McIntosh, mark.mcintosh@coaldale.ca, Special Events Coordinator, OR drop off your entry at the Coaldale Town Office (1801 20th Ave #200) during regular business hours by April 2nd, Attn: Mark McIntosh, OR bring your entry to the Town of Coaldale's Easter Event on Saturday, April 4th between 1 pm and 3:30 pm in the Civic Square Atrium (1801 20th Ave).  The Coaldale Public Library will also scan your submissions for free for this event.

  Step 5:
  Council will review the entries and decide on the 1st place winners from three age categories: 1-10yr, 11-17yr, and 18+.

• Prizes

  The 1st place winner for each age category (1-10, 11-17, 18+) will be awarded a custom t-shirt featuring their colouring masterpiece!
  Winners will be notified following the conclusion of the Easter Event on Saturday, April 4th, and t-shirts will be ordered thereafter.

Scavenger Hunt

  Step 1: View the image above for the fill in the blank paragraph.
  
  Step 2: Go to each of location to find the hidden keyword.  Clues will be placed and ready for scavengers to begin the hunt on Saturday, March 28th.  This year's locations are:
    - Kinship Park (2625 Aspen Dr)
    - East View Park (1825 10 St)
    - Peace Park (1708 22 St)
    - Tot Lot / Spray Park (2211 16 Ave)
    - Kinsmen Park / Kin Skate Park (2310 22 Ave)
    - Millennium Park (2107 13 St)  
  *PLEASE DO NOT TAKE OR RELOCATE THE CLUES, LEAVE THEM FOR THE NEXT HUNTER
  
  Step 3: Use the keywords to complete the Easter paragraph.  Complete the submission form and submit it at the Town of Coaldale Ofice (1801 20 Ave #200) during regular business hours (Attn: Mark McIntosh), OR bring your entry to the Coaldale Easter Event on Saturday, April 4 between 1 pm and 3:30 pm in the Civic Square Atrium (1801 20 Ave).  Submission forms can be downloaded below but will also be available to fill out at the Town Office.  Please note that the Town Office will be closed on Good Friday.
  
  Step 4: 3 winning entries will be drawn at random and awarded a giant Easter Egg filled with tasty treats and a free pizza coupon from Buster's Pizza & Donair Coaldale.  Paragraph entries must be correct to be eligible to win.
