In addition to unforgettable live music, the event will feature a beer gardens, food sales, and a 50/50 draw, all designed to help raise funds for Ride for Dad’s charity, the Prostate Cancer Fight Foundation.
The Town of Coaldale is sponsoring an upcoming Ride for Dad fundraising concert. Set to take place on Saturday, July 19th at the Shift Community Recreation Centre in Coaldale, the concert will feature Canadian country rock stars The Road Hammers, along with special guests Megan Dawson and Bow City Underground.
Alongside an incredible night of live music, the event will include a beer garden, food vendors, and a 50/50 draw—all in support of Ride for Dad’s charitable partner, the Prostate Cancer Fight Foundation. Title sponsors of the event include College Ford Lincoln, The Evans Group, and Dennis Dirtworx.

Established in 2000, the Ride for Dad fight against prostate cancer is committed to help save men's lives and improve the quality of life for men and their families living with the disease. Every year, thousands of participants, supporters, and friends raise funds for Ride for Dad initiatives held in communities from coast to coast to coast across Canada. These funds are then given to Ride for Dad’s Charity, the Prostate Cancer Fight Foundation, to fund ground-breaking prostate cancer research and life-saving awareness campaigns. To date, Ride for Dad has raised over $43 million, with all proceeds going to the Prostate Cancer Fight Foundation.
