Event will be focused on downtown Coaldale, highlighting the newly renovated Fire Hall and Main Street

This August, the Town of Coaldale is set to host its first-ever Celebrate Main event.
“Celebrate Main is a celebration of and for our community,” said Cindy Hoffman. “Many residents and visitors are anxious to attend summer events this year; our hope is that this event will feel like a breath of fresh air to those who have persevered through the past 18 months of the pandemic.”
Celebrate Main will kick-off on Friday, August 6 with a Movie in the Park. Festivities will continue into Saturday starting with a pancake breakfast fundraiser hosted by Coaldale & District Emergency Services.
“Several local businesses will be participating in the event in the way of promotional deals or by providing entertainment and activities,” said Hoffman. “The Kinsmen Club of Coaldale will be hosting the Family Lounge which will feature stage performances including live musicians from 8am to approximately 11pm.”
The Coaldale Custom Cruisers Show & Shine will also debut on Saturday morning. The full event schedule can be found at coaldale.ca/celebratemain.
