Town of Coaldale Arranges a Number of Holiday Festivities in Lieu of Night of Lights Parade

Date

The Town of Coaldale is extremely saddened to announce that due to COVID-19 restrictions, the annual Country Christmas Night of Lights Parade Event has been cancelled. The Night of Lights Parade Event attracts over 3,000 visitors and residents annually, making it one of Coaldale’s biggest event of the year and one that certainly would exceed the maximum capacity recommended by Alberta Health Services for outdoor events.

In lieu of the parade, the Town has arranged a number of safe activities that will help keep the Coaldale holiday spirit alive. Below is a list of upcoming holiday-themed community events to participate in:

“While this year’s festivities may not look the same as usual, the Town of Coaldale has been hard at work to deliver exceptional services to the residents and visitors of Coaldale,” said Cindy Hoffman, Community Services Manager for the Town of Coaldale. “We look forward to seeing everyone out supporting local businesses and engaging in the festivities”.
