Coaldale & District Emergency Services are currently on scene at a power pole fire located at 20th Avenue & 11th Street.
20th Ave is currently blocked to traffic at 10 St and 12 St with 11 St blocked at 20A Ave. Please avoid the area. Please be aware that this situation may result in lost power throughout Town as Fortis works to repair the damaged line. Stand by for updates as they become available.

[12:20pm] All power has been restored as of 12:01pm. No further outages will be required to make the repairs on the damaged pole.
[10:30am] Power has been restored to most parts of Town. The area between 20th - 25th Avenue & 11th - 8th Street may still be experiencing some loss of power.
[10:00am] Power is expected to go out for the entire Town for approximately 30 minutes as Fortis works to repair the damaged line. The area between 20th - 25th Avenue & 11th - 8th Street (marked below) may experience loss of power for several hours.
[9:15am] Coaldale residents residing in the marked area may experience intermittent loss of power as Fortis works to repair the damaged line.
