My wife and I have lived in Coaldale and the surrounding community for over 40 years and are
proud to call this wonderful place home. Coaldale is a truly special town to live, work and raise a family just as we’ve done. For 35 years, I was a dairy farmer and owned and operated a
family-run farm in the Sunnyside area. I know firsthand the importance and value of putting in a day’s work and the gratification of reaping the rewards of one’s own labour. I never shy away from a challenge and always seek opportunities to learn, improve and grow.
I am a father and grandfather many times over, and have a true appreciation for quality of life, wellness and what it means to live healthy in a family-focused community like Coaldale.
Over the years, I have held many positions that lend relevant experience for this elected role including Chairman for Community Futures Lethbridge Region, Chairman Link Pathway Society and Lethbridge Regional Waste Services Commission. I am a current Board Member for Lethbridge Exhibition and for 9 years I served as Deputy Reeve for Lethbridge County.
I take a servant-leadership approach to government and, as an active community champion and volunteer, I see an opportunity for growth and positive change for the Town of Coaldale. I ask residents like you to allow me to help facilitate this change in the community’s next chapter of
administration as Mayor through “Leadership that Listens”
