Community Grant Program

The Town of Coaldale Community Grant Program was launched in May 2017. Its purpose is to fund programs, projects, and events put on by not-for-profit or volunteer-based organizations that contribute to the well-being of the community, address a community need, or enhance or improve the quality of life of Town residents.

2023 will mark the seventh (7th) year that funding is awarded to community projects that meet the requirements of the grant program. This funding is generated exclusively from the Town’s municipal photo radar program, which has generated $226, 362 from 2016-2022. Seventy-five percent (75%) of photo radar speeding tickets are issued to residents from outside of Coaldale.

Coaldale Town Council approved this years’ recipients at the June 27, 2022 Regular Council Meeting.
