There have been reports of encounters with coyotes within the Town of Coaldale, most recently near the Kin Picnic Shelter and the Alberta Birds of Prey Centre. The Alberta Government has provided information on safety precautions to take in regards to urban coyotes. Urban Coyotes Brochure
