Proposed VLT bylaw Public Hearing March 13 at 6 p.m.

Coaldale Town Council approved First Reading of Bylaw 721-C-02-17

at the February 13, 2017 Council meeting.

The bylaw, if it passes Second and Third Reading, will provide for the installation, operation and use of Video Lottery Terminals within the Town of Coaldale.

Council will host a Public Hearing at its March 13, 2017 Council Meeting at 6 p.m. at the HUB to provide an opportunity for residents to speak to the bylaw.

VLTs will not be allowed in Coaldale unless the bylaw is approved on Third Reading.

Anyone wishing to provide written submissions to Council on the bylaw can email submissions to admin@coaldale.ca, drop them off at the Town Office or mail them to Town of Coaldale, 1920-17 Street,

Coaldale, AB, T1M 1M1.

All submissions must be signed and include the name and address of the author of the submission.

The deadline for written submission is

Monday, March 6, 2017.

Anyone wishing to speak at the Public Hearing is welcome to attend at 6 p.m. on

Monday, March 13, 2017 at the HUB, 2107-13 Street.

Residents will be limited to one oral submission each, not to exceed three minutes, in order to allow enough time for everyone who wants to speak to do so.
