CDES prepared for opioid crisis

Coaldale & District Emergency Services now had three members trained to handle an opioid overdose.

Acting Fire Chief Gary Gettman and firefighters Colby Stone and Connor Chartier have completed their Naloxone training in response to the growing opioid crisis in Alberta.

Upon completion of the training they received Naloxone kits.

Coaldale and District Emergency Services is very pleased to add two new Volunteer Firefighters to the fire department. Riley Martens and Scott Elford have received their pager from Acting Fire Chief Gary Gettman and will start responding to emergency calls in the town and county. Congratulations Riley and Scott.
