A Public Hearing to consider proposed Bylaw No. 716-P-10-16 will be held in the Town of Coaldale Council Chambers, 1920-17 Street, at 5:45 p.m. on Monday, Nov.14, 2016.
Council has given first reading to the bylaw which is an amendment to Bylaw No,. 677-P-04-13, the Town of Coaldale Land Use Bylaw.
The purpose of the proposed bylaw is to amend the discretionary uses list of the Highway Commercial- C2 land use district to include the use termed “Medical/Health Facility” in order that this use may be, at the discretion of the Development Authority as per the processes and requirements of the Land Use Bylaw, developed and operated on Highway Commercial- C2 properties within the Town of Coaldale.
Anyone wishing to make a presentation regarding the proposed bylaw should, in writing, notify the Director of Planning and Development of the Town of Coaldale no later than 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016. Both written and/or verbal presentations may be made to Council at the Public Hearing. All submissions will be made public.
A copy of the proposed bylaw may be inspected as the Town of Coaldale office during normal business hours.
