Roger Hohm – Candidate for Council

My wife Fran and I made Coaldale our home in 1995.  We enjoy he many recreational and cultural opportunities our town has to offer and we give back through actively volunteering for a number of boards and committees.

I was first elected as a Councillor, in 2013 and would like to have the opportunity to continue giving back to the community of Coaldale by being re-elected.

One of my key strengths that I bring to Council, is a network of industry partnerships and an understanding of the economic opportunities.

I am proud of the many accomplishments and successes during my first 4 year term on Council.  Including: positive atmosphere for industrial, commercial and residential growth; setting the stage for a new policing model since moving from LRPS to the RCMP, including the soon to be constructed, large multi-purpose RCMP detachment; finalizing our Annexation to meet our growth, schooling and flood control needs for the next 25 years this includes the partnerships with Lethbridge County, St. Mary River Irrigation District, landowners and the Province.

Our community continues to grow and I will worked hard to ensure infrastructure and community needs are at the forefront of any expansion discussion and ensure fiscal resources are spent wisely and within a budget which impacts you, the tax payer, the least.

I am looking forward to hearing your concerns and ideas and to continue representing you as a Councillor for the Town of Coaldale.
