Community Engagement

The Town of Coaldale has launched this Community Engagement page in an effort to provide our residents with a specific page to find surveys and other material the Town would like to share with residents. Please check back regularly for surveys that will be posted as issues, events, activities and changes to local bylaws and policies are posted with an opportunity for residents to provide Town Council and Town Administration with feedback.

Sports & Recreation Needs Assessment: The Town wants to hear about your sport and recreational needs.  Your feedback will help the Town better understand how it can serve residents by helping them be as active and healthy as they can be.

Coaldale Public Participation Survey: We want to hear from you on how you want to hear from us. How do you want to be involved in civic matters? Let us know by completing this short Coaldale Public Participation Survey. The deadline to complete the survey is Wednesday, July 4, 2018.

Cannabis Survey Results: The Town of Coaldale sought input from local residents on the regulation of non-medical cannabis sales in the community. The Federal government is in the process of legalizing the possession, consumption and retail sale of cannabis for non-medical uses. When this occurs, municipalities will need to ensure they have a clear plan for how they will manage retail cannabis sales in their communities.
