The Town of Coaldale does require that all organizations wishing to do any canvassing, walkathons, show & shines, etc. in the Town of Coaldale apply for a Parade Permit. Even though your event is not classified as a "parade" it will still require some special attention from the Town organization.
Your permit must go through an approval process which includes the Lethbridge Regional Police Service, Emergency Services, Operations and Bylaw Enforcement departments.
These approvals are necessary to make sure that your event is held in a safe and orderly manner and that our departments know where you will be.
The form required is in a pdf format for your convenience and can be either emailed to the Town Office at admin@coaldale.ca or by fax at 403.345.1311.
Please be sure to allow as much as 3 weeks from your application submission date to your event date so the approval process can be completed prior to your event.
