Gem of the West Museum: Coaldale is home to the Gem of the West Museum. This organization is a community group that focuses on the preservation of local history information and artifacts concerning Coaldale and its residents. Visit the Museum located on Highway 845 to Picture Butte.

Birds of Prey Centre: The Centre is a major tourist attraction in Western Canada and is dedicated to preserving the province's wildlife heritage. The Centre's emphasis is on birds of prey and visitors can gain hands-on knowledge about owls, eagles, hawks and falcons through wildlife exhibits and active participation. The highlight of the tour is the "hawk-walk" or flying fields where free-flying demonstrations of specially trained falcons, hawks, and eagles are conducted hourly.

Land O' Lakes Golf Club: This is one of the best courses in southern Alberta as the 6,459 yard par 71 course offers rolling greens, white sand, trees and lots of water.
