Centennial Candy Parade

2 positions to assist with parade registration

  • Saturday, July 6

  • 8:30 a.m. to approximately 12 noon

6 positions to assist with “running” information between parade officials and parade entries

  • Saturday, July 6

  • 8:30 a.m. to approximately 12 noon

14 positions to secure barricades along the parade route

  • Saturday, July 6

  • 9:00 a.m. to approximately 12 noon

 Centennial Settler Days Party in the Park

2 positions to monitor volunteer tent

  • Saturday, July 6

  • Approx 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. but can be separated into shifts

12 positions to monitor inflatables (bouncy castles)

  • Saturday, July 6

  • 2 hour shifts (11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.)

  • 1 person/inflatable/shift (4 inflatables total)

3 positions to monitor bumper ball field

  • Saturday, July 6

  • 2 hour shifts (11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.)

3 positions to run Bunnock games

  • Saturday, July 6

  • 2 hour shifts (11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.)

  • Will need to become familiar with the rules of the game and be able to explain the rules to players.

All volunteers will receive a Coaldale Centennial T-shirt

and a $5 food voucher to be used at the Park on July 6.

All volunteers need to arrive 15 minutes before their shift starts.
