Coaldale Gateways and Corridors Workshops Dec. 7

The Town of Coaldale is undertaking a Gateways and Corridors strategy. When completed, the strategy will represent an action plan that identifies where, what, how and when changes can be made to different parts of Coaldale’s gateways and corridors.

What is meant by gateways and corridors? Gateways can be considered those areas that are key entrances and exits to and from a community, or prominent areas within a community. Corridors may be considered those key thoroughfares through or within a community.

Whether you are a resident, business owner, or both, it is likely you travel through one of Coaldale’s gateways and corridors on a daily basis. Your insights regarding changes that may be able to be made to enhance the visual appeal of these key areas would be greatly appreciated.

If you are interested in sharing your thoughts, ideas and concerns about Coaldale’s gateways and corridors, please plan on attending one of two upcoming workshops on December 7 at the Town Office, 1920-17 Street.

Workshop 1: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Workshop 2: 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

If you would like any additional information or cannot attend the workshops but would still like to share your thoughts and ideas, please contact us at planner@coaldale.ca or 403.345.1304
